So about the CIAA protecting its brand...
« on: February 26, 2015, 08:48:48 AM »
Major Atlanta Promoter AG Entertainment is using the CIAA's name for a Day Party Jeezy, T.I. and Yo Gotti are "Hosting" Saturday.

Did Alex Gidewon get permission from the CIAA to use their name or is he daring the conference to sue him and his company?

T.I. is also showing off these flyers on his instagram page (@troubleman31) and using the hashtag #CIAA.

I wonder if the conference is ready to go after these guys. I know I would be ready for the "legal" war for these Atlanta promoters testing my "Gangster," using any kind of branding referring to my intellectual property in ANY way.

I'd also go after Jacob York, Sport E Odie, and ANY artist and their labels being paid to "Host" any party making & taking money away from CIAA tournament functions. This would also include Lil Wayne, Fabolous, Rich Homie Quan, Troy Ave, etc...

With all the divisive rhetoric on social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter, websites such as ours, especially message boards, are under the watchful eye of the Internet giants. And those giants are coming down hard on sites like this one due to the perception of the need for better "oversight".

We recognize the cultural conflict that exists and over the past few months we've been accused of allowing content in posts/threads that supposedly violates some advertiser's policies. Those threads weren’t an issue in the past, but for some reason, they are an issue now. And we are being penalized (financially) because of it.

As a result we are coming to you directly for your financial support>
