Great News: Thank You Calvin Smyre
« on: September 12, 2014, 11:26:49 AM »
It has been said that Calvin Smyre is collaborating with other alums to have Dr. Griffith removed. It can be clearly seen that the sitting president at FVSU, is a wolf in sheep clothing. I'm glad to know that efforts are being made to get rid of this guy, whom we are calling our president. If you would like to be apart of that committee, I would suggest that you contact Calvin Smyre.  He can be contacted by the following:

#1fan, I like to be fair and balance, so I say how well will removing a President serve us now.  I think a better solution is to come up with a 10 -20 year plan on the future of FVSU.  We discuss the plan with the President and reach a direction to take the school.  The number one thing on the list should be getting more students at the school because we are a business  and students are what drive our business.

We should have measurable goals and time lines.  Then we hold the President feet to the fire on meeting those goals and deadlines.  This is how major schools operate by creating a vision and moving towards that vision.  For example, when GA southern restarted it football programs back in the 80s, the plan was to play teams like GA, Bama, GA Tech, etc.  Well they reached that goal, but they had a plan.  Now look at what came with that plan, they once had about 6,000 student, but now they are close to 20K and soon will surpass that.
