Sketchy Faith: Are HBCUs playing a fake school?
« on: September 05, 2014, 11:42:54 AM »
That College of Faith school that Tusculum beat...it might not even be a real school. Been mollywooped by Clark-Atlanta and Stillman. And the University of Faith, which Mississippi Valley State beat last week sounds equally as shady.

I was at that MVSU game, the weather/field conditions were bad and MVSU was without a lot of starters, but still even they couldn't do what Tusculum did on the defensive side of the ball. From what I saw, a lot of the guys on the COF squad didn't look like in shape football players either

That website has to be one of the jack leg works of art known to mankind. They would have been better off putting that thing together with some duct tape. They shouldn't be on anyone's schedule.

There's a couple schools like that up here in VA.  One of them is VA Beach Institute and they market themselves as "community college football program".  I don't even know if they're still around after all the cancelled games and financial problems they had last football season.

I'm surprised Davidson (FCS) even played COF..

I find it ironic these fly by night "relgious colleges" can field a football team full of "us" but  thou can't find over to hundreds students of college on the whole campus.

It looks more like semi-pro ball than anything.  The dude was talking about starting a team in the Atlanta area.

Dizzam....

I don't think we should be playing these guys. It's embarrassing. I would much rather see a D-III school scheduled. Shoot...somebody bring in Mount Union.

BTW....no one seems to be flapping about Concordia....I put them in the category of schools we shouldn't be playing either.
Don't you think that's some information I'd like to know?  I like Tacos . . .

^^^I also had similar thoughts regarding Concordia-Selma.
