That is the positive coming from the new normal in America. Some black folk are finally beginning to see that the larger society don't mean us well.

 This is great news!

Thumper's school has a "Brag List"  for seniors, and many of them, scholars and athletes, are going to HBCUs.
I am not competing with anyone but myself.
I simply want to be a better person today than I was yesterday.

Yea I went to a high school graduation diner last night and my wife is attending one this afternoon.

It was my nieces graduation diner last night and she is attending Southern Universality on a full basketball scholarship.
It is my wife's best friends son's graduation diner today and he is attending Hampton University on a full academic scholarship.

In both cases the HBCU's offered them more money than any of the local or state majority white universities.

The young lady who I know going to Cheyney is playing basketball but she is qualifying for the Keystone Honors program which pays for everything.

With all the divisive rhetoric on social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter, websites such as ours, especially message boards, are under the watchful eye of the Internet giants. And those giants are coming down hard on sites like this one due to the perception of the need for better "oversight".

We recognize the cultural conflict that exists and over the past few months we've been accused of allowing content in posts/threads that supposedly violates some advertiser's policies. Those threads weren’t an issue in the past, but for some reason, they are an issue now. And we are being penalized (financially) because of it.

As a result we are coming to you directly for your financial support>
