WOW!!!..............this is an INCREDIBLY fascinating film, and I can't thank brutha B4L enough for bringing it to the board's attention.

I need to warn peeps, however, that the film is NOT just 20mins long, and I had to learn that the "hard" way.  I began watching what I THOUGHT was a 20 mins film on the desktop in my office, but it was so compelling that I watched the ENTIRE almost two hours.

Bayard Rustin was a bad a.z.z dude!!!!

I have always known about Bayard Rustin, it amazes me that so many folks are now just finding out about him and the truth behind the  March on Washington.

If it was not for Rustin and A. Phillip Randolph there would not have been a MOW.
Mahalia Jackson is the one who told MLK, JR to do the I Have A Dream Speech, most do not know it was not the first time he have given it.
Most forget that the first attempt at MOW was in 1940, with A. Phillip Randolph and Rustin.
People forget all about the first March in 1957. Prayer Pilgrimage for Freedom. King spoke at that one too, Mahalia Jackson peformed at that one too.
Mahalia Jackson is sometimes an unsung heroine in the Movement. She lended her voice to many of the Civil Rights Movement events and even sung for King one last time at his funeral.
It is What It is.....It will BE what it WILL be....

With all the divisive rhetoric on social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter, websites such as ours, especially message boards, are under the watchful eye of the Internet giants. And those giants are coming down hard on sites like this one due to the perception of the need for better "oversight".

We recognize the cultural conflict that exists and over the past few months we've been accused of allowing content in posts/threads that supposedly violates some advertiser's policies. Those threads weren’t an issue in the past, but for some reason, they are an issue now. And we are being penalized (financially) because of it.

As a result we are coming to you directly for your financial support>
