POST YOUR VOTING EXPERIENCE HERE
« on: November 06, 2012, 09:54:34 AM »
I HAD NO PROBLEMS OR ISSUES AT ALL VOTING IN MADISON COUNTY, ALABAMA THIS MORNING.   GOT TO THE POLL AT 6:30, THEY OPENED AT 7:00  AND I WAS OUT BY 7:40.

CONSIDERING THERE WERE ALREADY 500 FOLKS AHEAD OF ME, THINGS WERE ENTIRELY UNEVENTFUL.  HOW ABOUT AT YOUR LOCATION?

I voted absentee.  No problems.  I'm listening to The Jack Gravely Show this morning.  In the Richmond Metro there are lines in some precincts.

Note:  Make sure you know where to vote.  Don't go to the wrong precinct.  If you do make a mistake and go to the wrong place find out where to go.  Then go vote.

I already told one person off who didn't look at her voter registration card and went to the wrong place.  Now she's mad and saying she's not voting.  She's blaming everyone but herself.  She said the white Republican lady embarrassed her by saying her voter registration card said she was to vote someplace else.  I hope she changes her mind.

I voted early in Buckhead (GA) and my experience was a rather pleasant one.  It didn't take longer than I had expected.  In fact, the line was wrapped around a few times, but it moved swiftly.  I stood for a few hours listening to music on my phone which made the time go by faster, so it seemed.

Got in and out with no problem. Since I live in a Democratic control state I did not have to show ID. Now I can go back and vote again if I choose.

VOTED this morning in the City of Newport News, VA.  It was a GRAND experience.  Got to explain to the volunteers the origin of my last name.  Was in at 0630 and out by 0650.  In addition to voting for the Presidency, Senate, and Congress-3rd District, there were 2-VA Constitutional Amendments on the Ballet.  Not that I didn't understand them, but it would have helped if more information leading up to the Election would have been publicized about them.  Just would have been nice to see where some of our Civic Leaders stood on them.

What state do you live in. I live in PA, no ID and I can't vote twice. At least make a valid argument.

Maryland. It is real easy to do. Walk up and say your someone that died or someone you know. You must not live in a Democratic dominated district?

Where do you stand on the amendments?  That's more important.

It's not that easy and rarely happens.
