IT'S BEEN MUCH MORE THAN A YEAR, AND I STILL HAVE NO ANSWER FROM NEYMAR RE:
"whether or not (he) accepts the DNA evidence from the mummies..."

O0

FROM BACK IN MARCH OF THIS YEAR

neymar,

I asked you whether or not you accept the DNA evidence from the mummies...

There's no sense in me spending time giving you EVIDENCE if you are not interested in evidence.

So, do you - or will you - accept DNA evidence produced by WHITE SCIENTISTS, NOT AFROCENTRISTS, about mummies?

I will engage with you with EVIDENCE.  But if your mind is made up and the facts don't matter, I have better things to do with my time.

Van Sertima's research has been debunked throughly in his field:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivan_Van_Sertima#Reception

But you want me to go find research that this is a white man's world we are living in? Why go that far.

I am really annoyed that my time is limited right now.

Wikipedia?  Really!?
I have edited Wiki pages and know how it works.  That one is an OBVIOUS hitjob.  The same kind of folks tried to beat down Diop.  But that doesn't mean that Van Sertima was correct about everything.  His was pioneering work and he missed some things, but let me ask you AGAIN:  Will you accept EVIDENCE THAT AFRICANS WERE IN THE AMERICAS HUNDREDS OR THOUSANDS OF YEARS BEFORE THE VIKINGS OR Cristóbal Colón (Columbus' name in Spanish).

Now,.....
No, I did not ask you "to go find research."  I asked you for your sources and whose research your conclusions are based on re: exploration and writing.

Clearly, you have none.

I will take a brief moment to point out the GLARING LOGICAL/HISTORICAL FLAW in your key argument about exploration.

You say that IF Africans had already been in the Americas, then Europeans would not have had to kidnap them and bring them.

EVEN YOU MUST SEE HOW RIDICULOUS THAT ARGUMENT IS...

First of all, it was Columbus and other Europeans who said they saw evidence of Africans having been there.  And the testimony of the Arawaks, themselves, AS REPORTED BY THE EUROPEANS!!!!  So, that is not in dispute.

Secondly, COMMON SENSE should tell you that the number of Africans - most of whom would have intermarried with Native peoples - would not be sufficient for the sugar and other plantation economies that they intended to develop.

Tell me, first, if you have a logical disagreement with EITHER OF THE POINTS I HAVE JUST MADE.....because again, if you will deal with neither facts and logic...it's a waste of time.

Just checking to see, Neymar, if you're ready to have an HONEST exchange based on evidence or if you are still clinging to your fact-devoid Legacy of Disbelief...

You've never read Van Sertima, have you?

Here is an excellent and illustrated presentation of evidence for African explorers crossing the African Ocean (the Atlantic) to Turtle Island (the Americas).

The video also, and quite incidentally, presents information which SLAYS the racist notion that West Africans did not have "what it takes" to develop scripts (written languages).  I know, I know,.. it's a silly notion embedded by years of British propaganda disguised as education, but still it's been put out here on O-Dan.

So, check out this TIGHT video with loads of evidence to confirm the trans-oceanic exploration by Africans into the Americas.

It is well worth the 20 minutes to watch it:

Interesting new find...

Egypt unveils discovery of 30 ancient coffins with mummies inside

https://edition.cnn.com/2019/10/19/middleeast/egypt-discovers-coffins-mummies-trnd/index.html

I can't help chuckling at Hawass speaking as if his Ancestors had something to do with Ancient Kemet!  (Or,... maybe he has a Nubian grandmother he keeps in a closet somewhere! Ha!)

These mummified remains are from the late eras of Ancient Kemet after Asian and European attacks and invasion.

Still... it is cool to see human works that have not been seen by human eyes for THOUSANDS of years.  Wow!!!

This does not relate to Ancient Kemet.

This information is undeniable evidence of a well-developed civilization in West Africa where the Yoruba people have lived for millennia.  It was in Ancient Benin.

Around 1000CE (Common Era), the people of the region (now Ogun State in Nigeria) built the largest man-made structure in Africa.  Its purpose may be unclear and debated, but its existence is not.

The Benin Walls were ravaged by the British in 1897 during what has come to be called the Punitive expedition. Scattered pieces of the structure remain in Edo, with the vast majority of them being used by the locals for building purposes. What remains of the wall itself continues to be torn down for real estate developments.[4] Fred Pearce wrote in New Scientist:

They extend for some 16,000 km (NOTE - ALMOST 10,000 MILES!!!!!!) in all, in a mosaic of more than 500 interconnected settlement boundaries. They cover 2,510 sq. miles (6,500 square kilometres) and were all dug by the Edo people. In all, they are four times longer than the Great Wall of China, and consumed a hundred times more material than the Great Pyramid of Cheops. They took an estimated 150 million hours of digging to construct, and are perhaps the largest single archaeological phenomenon on the planet.

Ethnomathematician Ron Eglash has discussed the planned layout of the city using fractals as the basis, not only in the city itself and the villages but even in the rooms of houses. He commented that "When Europeans first came to Africa, they considered the architecture very disorganised and thus primitive. It never occurred to them that the Africans might have been using a form of mathematics that they hadn’t even discovered yet."
