Are we going to continue to be enthusiastic about learning and teaching folks about black contributions to America and the world not only through Hollywood and beyond Hollywood, or will this Red Tail movement be just another symbolic gesture that amounts to reverting back to the status quo when the long lines stop? For most, business as usual will return and be the norm. However, there will be a few whose interested has been peaked and they will take the initiative to learn more about Black contributions in American history. Those in turn will reach and teach a few more. The struggle continues.....it's never ending.

Fans turned out as well for the George Lucas-produced Red Tails. The World War II film earned $19.1 million, $2 million above projections.
OK....Saw the movie...It was OK.... dialogue was weak ..... Cast could have been betterIt was a cool movie but i think the critics were on point.... the movie could have been done better, I honestly dont see this movie changing the way hollywood will do business with black actors or films after watching this i didnt see any of the actors having a blockbuster award winning performance ...With that said a movie like this needed to be made to expound on the African -American experience and heroic contributions of the brave men who fought and died for this country....but to call the film excellent may be a stretch
Saw the movie today. It was better than I expected. I saw the HBO version and was going to sit this one out. But I wanted to support it so we can get more black movies.I noticed three actors form the Wire, and Moesha's little brother. M
