It's time for the Seabreeze Ja-- Festival 2011
« on: April 08, 2011, 10:59:42 AM »
This year features the biggest and best lineup in the 12 year history of the Festival.

Starting on Wed the 13th, it lasts 5 days and 27 acts with multiple performances.

Some of the artists scheduled to appear are:

http://www.seabreezeja--festival.net/lineup/

George Benson, Boney James, Brian Culbertson, Norman Brown, Candy Dulfer, Gerald Albright, Richard Elliot, Peter White, Eric Darius, Mindi Abair, Kirk Whalum, Warren Hill, Ken Ford, Euge Groove, Jeff Golub, Marion Meadows, Paul Taylor, Cindy Bradley, Joey Sommerville, Marcus Anderson, Julian Vaughn, Nicholas Cole, Dotsero, Robert Harris, and local favorites Roman Street and Jones and Company.

For the 3rd consecutive year it will be held at the Ampitheater in BEAUTIFUL Pier Park in Panama City Beach Florida.

If you have NEVER attended one of these before NOW IS THE TIME TO START!! This even is EXTREMELY fun, with food, drinks, great weather, beautiful scenery, and excellent music.

Ticket packages include 4, 3, 2, or single day passes and prices are VERY reasonable considering the entertainment value.

As usual, Cholly will be there (with camera) for the whole thing and I WILL be looking for you.

This festival attracts people from all over the southeast of all races, though for the past 3 years there HAVE been more blacks than any other group.

The atmosphere is VERY relaxed, with people enjoying the music and the company of others who enjoy a good show.

Proceeds go towards Music in The Schools, a charity started by Festival founders Mark and Rene Carter, owners of the Ja-- Station in Destin. They began the charity to replace money for the arts that had been cut by the South Walton School District.

Now it benefits not only schools in Walton County, but Bay County as well.... so  your money not only pays for great music, but goes for a good cause.

It REALLY is!!!

And the prices are EXCELLENT; $200 for 4 days, $140 for 3... or, if you bought your tickets in September like I did, $70 for the whole thing. ;D

Decks, this is a SERIOUS social event. People come from all over to hang, chill, and listen to good music. My wife and I plan all year for these things and we look forward to a weekend of pure enjoyment.
