What's a slop jar?  I'm an Army brat.  We lived in quarters.  We didn't live in shacks by the railroad tracks.

A slop jar is just what it's called...a slop jar...you could live in a mansion should have sense enough to know what that is.

Well I hope the visual doesn't offend your delicate sensibilities seeing as how you grew up in "quarters", but a slop jar is simply a bucket where you place the uneaten food from your plate so you can feed it to the hogs/dogs/farm animals.   My grandmama's bucket was white...

My granny had one of those.  Hers was white also.  My grandparents also had a crock pot.

Not only did I live in quarters.  Depending on where we were stationed we had assigned parking spaces.  We had to have the sidewalks shoveled within hours after the snow stopped.  We even lived in quarters with no air conditioning and automatic dishwashers.  One of the quarters we lived in didn't have air conditioning, but we had a fireplace.  We thought we were in quarters heaven.

I know about well water too.  When we lived with my grandparents we got water from the well in these.  I was at an auction once and the auctioneer had no clue what it was.

Why am I looking forward to my four-day weekend?

Why are people so sensitive?

Why are guys always flexing at the gym?

Why does this blond chick always try to make sure I'm looking at her at the gym?

Why do I love summer vegetables? I tried eggplant for the first time the other night and really enjoyed my meal.
Not saying I’m Flawless. But I dam sure don’t tarnish.

Why am I looking forward to my four-day weekend?
Same reason I am looking forward to my WEEK off...tired of looking at work folks!   ;D

Why are people so sensitive?
Cause they are pampered p---ys     ::)

Why are guys always flexing at the gym?
its a scientifically proven fact that if you FLEX in the gym, it is a chick magnet....
okay, NOT really...but silly people do silly stuff, all in trying to get your attention.
  ;)

Why does this blond chick always try to make sure I'm looking at her at the gym?
Ummm....she might like some brown suga, I'm just saying

If you're like me, you like all veggies [except that dayum okra-yuck],
but other than that, they're filling and healthy.

WHY are coworkers  so doggone nosey?

WHY do people come to you for advice with the same dang problem
after ignoring your advice the last time you gave it?   ::)

 >:( WHY do WE refuse to sit down at concerts, sporting events, etc?
I understand you may get excited and raise up outcha seat at some point b
ut why do you remain standing? Nobody is paying $$$ to look at your doggone backside!

WHY is it that the all-u-can-eat-bars look like a sporting event?
You see some playing offense, some playing defense, others on the side line going over their game plan. Its hilarious to me.

WHY do you insist on SITTING on equipment at the gym and lounging while
talking to somebody else who is obviously TRYING to work out? WHY, dammit!  :brickwall:

I'm just saying....  :tongue2:

BT, your sister might want to bring a gas mask with her to Greece.  Especially if she gets near Athens.  It's getting ugly over there.
