Looking for people interested in Sports Broadcasting.
« on: January 04, 2011, 11:16:15 AM »
Hello all and Happy New Year!  As part of our setup with the BCSN I am looking for people who would like to participate in several online sports talk shows.  There will be both audio and video shows available and will be similar to ESPN's Around the Horn and The Sports Reporters.  While we will discuss ALL sports our focus will be on HBCU sports and athletics. Our plan is to start the shows in February as we test and get people into the flow of broadcasting with our system.  The programs will kick off fully in September with the start of football season.  There is no pay during the startup phase but we will be able to get you into different sporting events. Pay will be negotiated and start prior to Football season.  If you are interested or have any questions you can email or call me. 407-227-4759

There is very little needed:
1-A computer with an internet connection.
2-A Headset with a mic and earphones (radio shack has them from $14 up)
3-Webcam (not mandatory but preferred)
4-Commit 2 hours per week for live broadcast

With all the divisive rhetoric on social media outlets, websites such as ours, especially message boards, are under the watchful eye of the Internet giants. And those giants are coming down hard on sites like this one due to the perception of the need for better "oversight".

We recognize the cultural conflict that exists and over the past few months we've been accused of allowing content in posts/threads that supposedly violates some advertiser's policies. Those threads weren’t an issue in the past, but for some reason, they are an issue now. And we are being penalized (financially) because of it.

As a result we are coming to you directly for your financial support.

The pandemic has financial consequences, especially for Black-owned businesses. Ad revenue is shrinking so we are asking you directly for your financial support. You can use the Cash App and contribute to $onnidan or process your donation through Square
