Stop being jealous of children... :tiptoe:

And stop trying to date them too... :tiptoe:

I don't know about that. If you can pull a little young thang, I have nothing but admiration for you. GK and VG, nobody could tell you two nothing if you ended up turning out a little 21 year old boy. The experience will have you running to the gym killing yourself working out, putting color in your hair, and send you to Foxy Fashions to buy cloths.  Remember that episode of The Andy Griffith  Show where Aunt Bea was  dating and running the streets all night? It almost killed her.   ::) On second thought, maybe you two are on to something by steering clear of it.

At this point in my life the only thing I want a 21 year old to do for me is to point me in the direction of his older uncle, cousin, or brother....

They are nice to look at....REAALLLLL nice to look at, but I'm not looking for a boy toy...

If I was all I would have to do is get him some Air Jordans and a Play Station 3 or Xbox 360...I would be in the house ;D

You can do that for ANY man up to about 43. Although for the guys in the 30's you might have to include some season tickets to a Falcons game as well.

If foxy fashions is anything like Citi Trends over there near Ms. Winners on Summit & Bessemer, VG & GK should stay far away from there!

*If your locs aren't already long enough to make a ponytail, now is not the time to start them.

*If you have a culdesac hairline, just let it go...I promise we love bald heads too!

*Quit saying "I'm gonna just start life over"

*Calling me a baby and/or youngster (I'm 30) while trying to get my number.

*Wearing any fashion that I could find on the boys at my niece's middle school dance.

*Not owning at least one well tailored black suit for special occasions.

I guess it depends on the guy. For example my mother's youngest brother is 41 but dude looks like he's maybe early 30s. He is a weight room beast, and is in better shape than most dudes my age. He can get away with a lot of stuff from what he wears to the women that he dates. So I guess it all depends.

bear, everybody can't start with shoulder length hair. You got to start the locs first in order to get to the shoulder length.

Locs are like this:

Year one: "what in the hell am I doing" let me put a hat on.

Year two: "these things aren't done yet?"

Year three: "These things are beginning to look kind of nice"

Year four:   " oh, i know I look good!"

Year five:   " I'm ready to hit the runway"

Bear it's a very long road and every one has to pay the price and suffer for the first two and 1/2 years. I have just completed two years of growth and a year and a half of twisting. It's been pure hell but I'm beginning to see the light.  So when you see folks with nice dreds, just know that they have paid the price. Most folk can't or  are not willing to do it. my sister has tried twice and given up.

I don't think That is what she is saying, Cap....we know the process...several of my friends are going or have gone through it (it is a LOT of work being natural...I'll just slap the chemicals on my hair every 5 weeks)...she is simply saying that if you're 44 with a low cut, just go bald or keep the hairstyle you have....seeing a grown 40+ year old man with a wild afro or chicken scratch in his head isn't the best look....

I can deal with the locs though...no problem....but the cornrows need to go, ESPECIALLY if they start looking like wool.....at the very least keep them neat
