The excitement of living in the land of shake, bake, and mudslides.  California is now experiencing a riot drought.

California four seasons:
1) Earthquake
2) Fire
3) Mudslide

When I lived there, entire homes would slide into another zip code. At least the rain would clear the smog from the air where we could see the mountains behind downtown Los Angeles.

And the Santa Ana winds would clear out the entire valley. Too, it was said long ago that L.A. was built in the mouth of a very extinct volcano. I have not found anything to substantiate that claim. It is very dusty there, though. Brown dust. Even the beach sand is brown, but that may be from the oil. Have to be careful not to step on any tar balls on the beaches. Yeesh.

Ever go over to Catalina Is.?
