I don't see it either, but tell that to Lincoln(Pa.) and Central State.

I live in the Chicago area. Chicago State is in terrible financial condition. I just don’t see how they are going to be able to afford this when they can barely afford the sports that they sponsor now. The entire school is broke. They won’t do it but they should just drop down to D2 or even NAIA. They could easily fill out schedules playing the many NAIA schools located in the greater Chicago metropolitan area.

I can’t speak for Lincoln (PA) but as a Central State University alum, I don’t enjoy being in the SIAC at all. It makes no geographical sense whatsoever. The only SIAC school that CSU fans and students get excited about playing is Kentucky State because they’ve been our rival for several decades.

I don't see it either, but tell that to Lincoln(Pa.) and Central State. 

At least Lincoln is part of a contiguous part of states (PA.MS. VA NC and SC) and is within 6-7 hours of BSU, VSU, VUU, ECSU, SU and SAU.

First of all, they would have to be INVITED and I don't see that happening.

On the flip side, the SIAC invited Central State and I always felt like it is out of our footprint.

So WHO knows.
