Y'all,

Ms. Willis' statement shows me how shrewd she is.

She couched her oppostion to the report's release in the context of the rights of those named in the report: those who will be indicted and those who won't.

It's true that "innocent' (non-indicted) people's names will be bandied about if the report is "prematruely" released, but when the indictments come down, they won't be on that list. It's not fair to make it look like they MIGHT be indicted.  Good enough.

However, seems to me that most likely her PRIMARY concern is showing too much of her prosecutorial "hand" to defendants and their supporters prior to getting all of her ducks lined up for actual indictments.

Her recent statement makes her appear to be high-minded, which she may very well be.  But it strikes me it is more strategy than concern for the insurrectionists.
