North Dakota State and Tennessee State have been eyeing each other for a while, and now the two historic programs have put it on paper.

I’m a little surprised NDSU wanted to do a home and home.

......whose "bright" idea was it for this matchup?  Eddie knows DAMN WELL he doesn't have a roster and staff that can compete with these perennial FCS national championship contenders.  The matchup in the Fargodome will be a joke.  The contest in Nashville will likely be one as well.

TSU football doesn't have a clear vision or focus, and appears to simply be out in the ETHER floating around, trying to find a purpose.  Your humble poster has been following Big Blue football for well over 4 decades now.  I'm pretty much done with this foolishness.

Oh, well........

So are the TSU skill set players(QB,RB,WR,TE), just as good as NDSU skill set players? The TSU offensive and defensive lines worry me.

Good question.  With the skill set players it will come down to coaching.  NDSU coaches will find a weakness in their opponent and exploit it.  They don't care which player they use to do it.  Even if it's someone off the bench.

I'm a little surprised at the reaction on this subject. If TSU was to play a game with Tennessee we would look at it just as a normal money game. NDSU may have a better program, but most schools play teams above their pay scale. DIIs play FCS teams all the time.

NDSU doesn't mind traveling for OOC games, and I think the ability for them to play in an NFL stadium was the sticking point.  They played a random game against Butler a few year's ago because they had the opportunity to play at Target Field.

NDSU wanted a destination game for the fans and to play in a NFL stadium...that's the way TSU got the home and home contract
