^^^yeah, agree with DCREDDS. As several peeps mentioned on the other Ed Reed thread, dude’s relationship with BCU has ended before it even formally began. I believe he still hasn’t signed a contract.

My thinking is that the university should simply cut its losses at this point and part ways with dude.

BCU may not be in the position to do so. The old saying is, don't cut your nose to spite your face.  Right now, BCU really needs this hire right now because of the resources he can bring to BCU. Emotions are not qualified to make decisions but business knowledge is.

As I learned in business school any press can be good press if you handle it correctly. People get upset about the negative, but that negative might help BCU. Unless people know of an issue, they can't help.  There are several opportunities for BCU to make money off the situation.  One way, Coach Reed can use his relationships to secure funding to finish the practice complex.  He can use those relations to improve BCU. At the end of the day, that is the only thing that matter.

I hope you are right. Some folks are all talk and talk accomplishes nothing.

I'd rather see a sermon than hear one any day.

Ummmmm, what resources is this guy bringing to BCU  What improvements has he made...or promised to make? How is he supposed to provide said resources? If he really wants to support BCU why do they need to hire him as head football coach in exchange for his support?

Doesn't seem to me that BCU has received anything out of this deal (is it really even a deal if the is no contract) ?

Is he worth the head ache ?

Gestures would be important at this point. I apologize and to show how sorry I am, I have secured X-number of dollars for athletics at BCU...everybody    and smiles and goes about their business.

They have gotten press so far. BCU had an uptick on social media and people want BCU to make it official    People want more BCU news. Just stay tune for the rest of the story.

There is so many opportunities for BCU and Coach Reed to change the course of BCU forever. It takes a marketing guy to make it happen.

I have listened to your posts, Reed's statements, etc.  I think what has pissed hbcu folk off is he didi not come from hbcu and has not brought in a dime.

The truth is our schools are phucked up with poor leadership.  We all know this.  BCU has administrators that should be in prison.  They have been stealing millions for years.  BCU is broke. They are too busy trying to keep up with FAMU.

We become so angry when anyone who did not attend a black college criticize our leadership.

I am done on this soap box.
