Y believes slavery was a benevolent institution and that it has benefitted us more in the long run, which is exactly how White Supremists want us to think.  Black people like him intentionally choose to ignore any statistical data that conspicuously points out known racial bias in society. At my big age, I don't argue with ill-informed folx about HBCU business, I’ve never seen so many people talk about HBCU’s and not be informed. Just running with talking points.

In the spirit of Dr. MLK Jr.,  things don’t change unless you draw attention to them.  Someone mentioned the water situation in Jackson headed to a resolution.  But that may not have been the case  if it didn’t get national attention.

Coach  Prime was correct about doing an audit of the school because you might find some funds are not allocated properly. May be an audit might reveal that BCU might not belong in the SWAC or D1. They might be better off as a DII school.

Maybe the board will step to to find out why they are storing trash in a building.  They could be a fire hazard. HBCUs having been going through this for years. Sort of like during the civil rights movement.  Many didn’t want people to say anything.

Finally, do the alumni know the condition of the practice complex. They might step their game up and with Coach ties, BCU might get a first class practice complex. But he should say anything. People tend to want to help improve bad situation. He show you what the conditions were before he got there. Let’s wait to see what improvements BCU get after the video.
