Why come we as a people can't just like or dislike college football without throwing race into it all the time? I know it's justified in some cases, but can't you all just watch football for what it is? One team playing better than the other team?

From what I have noticed over the last 3 years, Black people who are the most critical of HBCU football are the biggest supporters of the most racist PWIs.

Have to agree Drumma. Now, I’m a diehard Hawks and Falcons fan. Other than that nope. The newscast here in the A will go all the way to Valdosta, before they’re step foot in the AUC. Especially WSBTV. Zach Klein

It's called institutionalization, particularly what came from the slave institution that says, "my massa's house is bigger than your massa's house." What's worse, some of us are so institutionalized, we feel a sense of empowerment when giving our money to others, no matter how unfair we are treated or how much we are overcharged. I've personally witnessed this in Virginia.  It blows one's mind to see people so dysfunction due to past institutionalization.

Most of the folks who are in the metro area who support Georgia are transplants. Yeah folks watch Georgia who would say they wouldn't? But all that loving UGA like Bama fans is not what we do. We love the Falcons like that. Every year on the news in Alabama they show folks literally hurting each other over Bama and Auburn. One year a father shot his son. They showed two women shoot each other over the Bama and Auburn game. I could go on and on. Black folks doing this to each other. Not white folks. I have never seen that in the city or Metro Atlanta area.

cee dog there is always an exception to the rule and I'm one of them. Born and raised in Bama and I damn sure don't support Alabama and especially not Auburn. As a football sportsman I'll watch their games on television.
