At best, his parents would be charged with a misdemeanor.

What type of weapon was used? Did the kid bring the weapon from home?

Is he black or white? This determines how the authorities proceed

The kid is a sociopath and his parents should be charged to the fullest extent of the law.  A misdemeanor would be a slap in the face of the Newport News community.

???......boss, no disrespect, but on what basis have you concluded this kid is a "sociopath"?  Are you privy to some kind of psychological/psychiatric exam of this kid that supports your theory?  I'd like to see/read something that gives insights to this child's state-of-mind.

Similarly, why do you think the parents should be "charged"?  Have you seen/read something that suggests criminal charges on the parent(s) are warranted?  Do we know for a FACT that it was the parents negligence that resulted in that child having access to the gun?  Perhaps the local authorities have some of the answers to the questions I'm posing here.  But in the absence of answers, I'm just not interested in jumping to conclusions.

Just my $0.02.

That kid is too young to be a sociopath. A 6 year old barley knows what his name is.

How does a 6 year old get access to a gun without negligence being present?

I agree with you 100%. The child is a sociopath and got the genes fr his parents. Those genes need to be exterminated.

A baby understands the difference between right and wrong before he can speak and walk. This little monster fully understood what happens when you pull a trigger that's why he did it. Now as far as consequences according to the law heck even a 60 year doesn't know that part.

I'm sure if a 6 y/o understood FULLY what he was doing, but one thing can be said, he's definitely a product of his environment.

I still wanna know what type of weapon was used, assuming a hand gun vs long rifle. But even with a hand gun, the recoil on some could have knocked them over or a loss of balance.

Still wanna know where this bad mofo got said weapon from.

Dog how old were you when you learned about how 'final' death is? Hell at that age I still thought dead folk would find their way back here somehow.  When did you learn that Santa was a big lie? What about where babies came from? Most 6 year olds don't fully understand those things.
