Problem is white folks write bigger checks   Boone Pickens gave 75 million to Oklahoma state football team  so when comes to voting and giving we can't compare ourselves to white folks. We have ro give and vote more  . There are many ways of raising money.  How much more money would hbcu  have if 40 million blacks saved A NICKEL a day for hbcu  how much more money we would have if the divine nine had their annual meetings in BLACK owned hotel and hired black catering and workes  Our downfall is inappropriate economic behavior  shoot the Vietnam refugees has been here less than 40 years and economically clean our clocks

Here we go again getting in our feelings. The best point she made is we need to take advantage of the spotlight whenever we get a chance. The CB get you a chance to reach potential students You show your campus, programs, and well to do alumnus. 

FVSU coaches are doing a tremendous job on Twitter of reaching recruits by showing the football stadium and the programs we offer. They show alumnus as well. When recruits contact them they encourage them to learn about FVSU to better understand what FVSU can offer the student . They have generated plenty of interest in FVSU.

I’ve forgotten what promo NCCU ran during the CB, but I do know we have a promo the shows all the things this “Professor” says we should have shown. 

I will say we should highlight our athletes that have made it to the NFL. We certainly have dropped the ball on that.

I agree with most things that she said - we MUST be more intentional, strategic and focused on fundraising, marketing, branding, name recognition, infrastructure and customer service.

And yes, we have to talk about and share all of our past and current successes - academic, social and athletic accomplishments to include our current NFL players.
