Yeah, there are a lot of emotions flowing through this kid’s head. His perspectives/reflections might have been slightly different had they won. But, yeah, this kid is kinda looking ahead. And he likely knows that while he will be “embraced” at the new school and city, it won’t be the sane kind of affection he received in Jackson.
