If it ain’t him I wouldn’t bet surprised if they named the young lady from Hillside that’s now at NCCU in the music department….

I guess we are not really serious about a strong marching band.  Man, we have to face JSU in Atlanta...   Before hiring a high school director, they may want to keep who they have.  If they are going to keep him, go ahead and name him so he can have time to recruit.

Do you realize most college band directors were once high school band directors? She is not at Hillside now. She is teaching at NCCU. Secondly, there is no recruiting you could do to get new members before the JSU game unless they were recruiting on campus and I am sure whoever has been in the band all year will be making the trip.

Not talking about this year, but next year.  Either way, they need to give the new director time.  The young man we have now did a good job, especially considering the short time he was put in place.  I really didn't notice it was the director from Hillside.  She will do fine too but will need time to rebuild.  Those are two pretty good candidates right there.
