Over 40,000 Moore County, North Carolina residents were powerless on Sunday afternoon after two substations were taken out by gunfire on Saturday night, according to police.

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields said in a Facebook post on Saturday that just after 7 p.m. on that night, several communities across the county began to experience power outages.

Duke Energy, which operates the power grid in the county, responded to at least two different substations and there was evidence of intentional vandalism at both, Fields said.

"We faced something last night here in Moore County we have never faced before," Fields said during a Facebook Live press conference on Sunday afternoon.

Your people still trying to start their little race war by sabotaging the country's power and communication grid.

Knee grow please.  This has nothing to do with race.  You really need to get out more.

Y, there's been some FBI (lone agent) folk on MSNBC pushing the Domestic (White) terrorist narrative. SMH.

It sounds like Y might have some detail information on how and why it was done.  If that's the case, maybe the FBI needs to give him a visit.

Bring 'em.  They know it wasn't white supremacists who did this.

Folks in the area are saying it was a hate incident. Apparently there was a drag show scheduled for Saturday night. Local Proud Boys and other right leaning groups accused the event as being 'kids friendly.' They have been protesting in Southern Pines and Sanford the past two weeks. Local folk are also saying elected officials and sheriff department member have also participated in the anti-lgbtq rhetoric. This is why they are slow to label the destruction as a hate crime. In doing so, they would be forced to address their role in this.

Cap -

A similar incident played out in Columbus, Oh last week with the not so proud dumbasses and a drag show. The so called police officers were seen openly congratulating and high fiving these assclowns as they shut down a show.

NC power grid attack stokes fear in rural LGBTQ community

DECEMBER 09, 2022
by Hannah Schoenbaum, Associated Press

As shootings at two electrical substations cut power to thousands of central North Carolina homes last weekend, they also sparked widespread speculation that the days-long blackout might be the latest of several attempts to shut down a local drag show meant to celebrate the LGBTQ community in rural Moore County.

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields said earlier this week that police have not found evidence connecting the attacks to the drag performance that began shortly before the power went out, nor have they released a motive. However, authorities are considering the timing overlap and recent attacks on similar events nationwide as they proceed with their investigation.

Police have said the outages began shortly after 7 p.m. last Saturday after one or more people drove up to two electrical substations, breached the gates and opened fire on them. Whoever was responsible, Fields said, “knew exactly what they were doing to ... cause the outage that they did.”

Power restored to North Carolina county affected by shooting

8:47AM DECEMBER 08, 2022

by Associated Press

Duke Energy completed repairs Wednesday on electric substation equipment damaged in shootings over the weekend in central North Carolina.

Almost all households in Moore County had regained power as of 5 p.m. Wednesday, according to Duke Energy’s outage map. A peak of more than 45,000 customers lost power over the weekend.

Authorities have said the outages began shortly after 7 p.m. Saturday night after one or more people drove up to two substations, breached the gates and opened fire on them.

In a statement on its website, Duke Energy said all of the equipment damaged in the attack has been fixed or replaced. The company said customers gradually got power back throughout the day as it finished testing and restoration.

Police have not released a motive or said what kind of gun was used in the attack. But Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields told reporters Monday that whoever was responsible “knew exactly what they were doing to ... cause the outage that they did.”

A substation near Maysville in Jones County was damaged by vandals Nov. 11, causing outages to 12,000 customers that lasted about two hours, according to the Carteret-Craven Electric Cooperative.

Y people are not playing around.  We better start investing in tertiary power source, such as the electrical grid, generac generators, solar panels with home wall batteries, and a fourth source could be EV's with the capabilities of providing power to homes for three days like the Ford F-150 Lightning.  We need to be thinking along the lines of self-preservation more and more.

They are embracing what is called 'acceleration theory' or accelerationism to collapse society into chaos in order to start their race riot.  Supposedly, they are all over social media sites, such as TikTok with this BS.

Beau left out one important power source that people with money should consider and that is solar panels with power wall batteries.  It pretty much completely eliminates homes from the power grid.
