How they scooped Honda's Battle of the Bands?  In other words, how are they able to capitalize on the previous years' events by claiming:

Quote
"The original battle of the bands is back in Atlanta and kicking off Black History month with six of the top HBCU marching and bands in the country along with special performances by two of the best high school marching bands in Atlanta.
The All-Star Battle of the Bands was created in 2002 to showcase the talents of the country’s top Historically Black Colleges and Universities, entertain audiences both young and old, and support the HBCU music community with scholarships."

Is HBCU All-Stars the name of the original competition before Honda began sponsoring in 2003?  It seems like some legal gray area here.

NOPE!  It ALWAYS been the HONDA BOTB at the Ga Dome. Promoters are lying!!! But you never can trust those sneaky snakeoil salesmen. I get it, definitely trying to capitalize.  OH well, I ain't going anyway. Seen everything and everybody, nothing new to see. IF I get curious, I'll just catch the youtube clips AFTER the event.  ;D

I hope the original organizers and Honda take legal action if there is any recourse available to them.  Honda has been a willing partner for HBCUs for decades and shouldn’t have their history co-opted by opportunistic promoters.

Interestingly enough, the contact for the press releases associated with this event is a publicist in North Carolina.

Well, I know a few of my friends in the Atlanta area are confused with this BOTB and the Honda. I don't know why Honda moved the BOTB to Bama State campus. No one is going to Bama State in cold weather in January and the line up of bands are not good.

that's all...
