I had a cousin one time reply to another cousin asking about her single status "girl, you ain't married yet?"
with "is your husband still cheating on you?"

LITERALLY, you could have heard a pin drop!!!!   :lmao:

After that 'MOMENT OF UNCOMFORTABLE SILENCE' that only lasted a few seconds but felt like an hour, they went back and forth as they normally do.  And at that point, the rest of us went on about our business.  Yes, the cheating husband was there, he didn't give funk cause HE WAS THERE and ain't going anywhere and neither is his wife. And after the back and forth, which they usually do anyway, the other cousin went onabout her business with her usual 'she get on my damn nerves, always got her nose up in folks business'....the usual

The other annoying relative, that great-uncle who is a Howard alum, always wants to debate something nobody cares about  God rest his soul, he was a nice guy, just annoying. I'd give him 5 minutes out of respect, with only a "thats interesting" before leaving him to his diatribe.

I could go on....gotta love family. Never a dull moment.

One year I was asked why I didn't have kids.  I wasn't married at the time.  It just so happened that everyone in the room had a child out of wedlock.  I told them I didn't believe in having bastard babies.  For some reason they changed the subject.

Fayetteville State by choice. Bronco by the Grace of GOD.
