Shanquella Robinson’s dad believes her Mexico death was ‘setup’


Her father Bernard Robinson told TMZ Saturday he believed the attack was a setup, because his daughter was not one to get involved in fights.

“They attacked her, man. This ain’t like some … my daughter was asleep man. For all them to be in that room and then, you know, they come in there like no she woke up or whatever, the way it seems like they attacked her, man,” an emotional Robinson told the outlet.

“And she naked man. You know, for a father… to see that video man, you know, cause my daughter’s not a fighter man, she’s not a fighter, not at all,” the grieving father said, speculating that his daughter was killed in a premeditated attack.

   AS IF death ain't already hard enough, her parents have to deal with her being setup like this and treated like this. ON TOP OF ALL OF THAT, there is a matter of getting the body back to the states to her parents to plana proper burial.  I am just really disturbed by this. I guess I shouldn't be shocked and I'm not....just really bothered.

Mexico investigates death of American woman seen being beaten in video that has gone viral

Mexican prosecutors said Thursday they have opened an investigation into the death of a U.S. woman seen being beaten in a video that has gone viral. Prosecutors in the state of Baja California Sur said in a statement they are investigating the death of a woman they identified only as a foreigner, at a resort development in the town of San Jose del Cabo.

A state official who was not authorized to be quoted by name confirmed the victim was Shanquella Robinson. The official confirmed that the group she had been traveling with had since left Mexico.

……..……..yeah, this REALLY IS good news. This is one of the most despicable and disturbing stories I have EVER seen. This girl is dead within 24 hours of arriving in Cabo, beaten VICIOUSLY while naked, and grown-a.z.z men recording the whole thing. And ALL the participants are supposed to be “friends” of this girl.

Don’t know who might be named in the arrest warrant, but culpability extends to not just the BEAST beating this girl. Your humble poster is EQUALLY repulsed by the stupid NUCCAS recording this, encouraging this girl to “fight back”.

But they’re all supposed to be FRIENDS.

I was watching a program on fugitives on the American Heroes Channel where a fugitive went to Mexico.  Mexican authorities caught him.  A Texas policewoman said that she would not wish someone to be held in a Mexican jail.  She would take being held in an American jail instead.

Mexican Authorities Request Extradition Of Shanquella Robinson’s Friend For Questioning Of Her Death


Nearly a month after the untimely death of Shanquella Robinson, the investigation continues to unfold. As of Nov. 28, the Mexican police have called for the extradition of the individual they are questioning as the suspect in her murder. According to CNN, the Attorney General for Baja California Sur, Daniel De La Rosa, claims “the extradition process for the suspect was underway.”

“There is already an arrest warrant issued for the crime of femicide. We are already carrying out all the relevant procedures, both the Interpol file and the extradition request.”

A lot of people are wondering how something like this could happen. I honestly started seeing this type of behavior among college students around 2009. I don't have children of my own, but student development is a specialty. This behavior, as clearly demonstrated in this friend group is not gendered or based in sexual expression. Young people struggle with coping skills and conflict resolution. And when fights happen, they are so vicious, catastrophic injury is almost always present. There's little mercy once hands are thrown.

Luring people to locations to fight them, stab them, stomp them, shoot them, etc. is common as is recording the incident to view later and show others. I've reviewed application appeals of numerous students who were involved in luring a "friend" somewhere and said friend was murdered during the course of the day. I've suspended students for stomping their "friend" for one reason or another. This is common and on the rise.

Bfl………thanks for your post because it provided some “understanding” of this DEEPLY disturbing and horrific crime.

About 8 years or so ago when Ms. Strike was a year or two out of college, she expressed to her mother and me plans to go to South Beach one spring. Well, Ms. Strike has visited Dad’s hometown since she was a baby, but SB is about an hour’s drive south or so and a different world.

A cousin of mine residing in Ft. Lauderdale was so alarmed about those plans that she insisted her daughter, just a year older than Ms. Strike, accompany the group to SB. It wasn’t sufficient for my cousin that Ms. Strike would be accompanied by 2-3 female friends. My cousin had heard and seen so much of the foolishness down there that she was DEEPLY concerned about my daughter going down there. My cousin has always been more like a “sister” than my first cousin. And has known Ms. Strike since she was a baby.

Anyway, both to mine and my cousin’s relief, Ms. Strike scuttled her plans, didn’t go down there, and that was the end of that.
