JayThomas, your guess is good as mine. We were founded in 1895 and Albany State 1903. So, somehow someone thought it was a good idea to use the same colors as ours.

I tease my 2 cuzzins [both ASU alums] about that all the time.
I mean, hell, can't rag on em like we have beat them so many times [NOT].  :lol:
At one point, the Golden Rams added SILVER as one of their colors.
