I've been holding my tongue on this one. I first saw it on tictoc before it was posted on this board. My opinion from the start is why was the student on his phone during class? The classroom is a place of learning. He obviously wasn't interested in learning so he did what most people who want to waste others the did cause chaos. We give these kids way to many excuses today.

Education is one of those things you have to want for yourself. I remember when I decided I wanted it. Prior to that, I did it out of expectations.

how about either ask the student to get off of his phone OR just ask him to leave the classroom?
