We'll celebrate the life of Mr. Eric Moore with Lut Williams (Black College Sports Page Editor) and Roy M. Eavins, II (President of Jericho Broadcast Networks and BCSN).

Met Mr. Moore in mid 80's while working with Coach Tiny Laster who also loved doing stats and sharing sports information with computers. When we came to Hampton they really connected. One the best at what he did. Rest in Peace...and he just had a Birthday.

:(.......unlike many of you, I regret to say that I never got the opportunity to meet Mr. Moore.  But had I done so, I would have thanked him immensely for his immeasurable work in uplifting and publicizing HBCU sports, of which this commentary forum is a part.  I can not express enough how much it is a joy for this poster to interact with black folks on this board about sports, politics, entertainment and everything else.

My condolences and thanks to the gentleman's family, and may Eric Moore now RIP.

I introduced myself to Mr Moore at a MEAC basketball tournament in Winston-Salem.

I'm thankful that he had the vision to provide us with this platform to share ideas and information about HBCUs and the Black community.

I have definitely grown through our interactions.
