They are playing more HBCU football programs than A&T, Hampton and Tennessee State. 2) They are playing in two of the biggest homecoming games of the year, doesn't it make sense for our audience (fans of those programs) to know who Campbell is? 3) Campbell is a team that is competing for the same level of players that our FCS programs are -- they are worth keeping an eye on.4) The data from our article this summer shows that Campbell has a fan base that will read content about their team, which helps us bring in revenue. Sadly there are far too few HBCU fanbases that don't engage with content on their favorite team. At the end of the day its a good, unique story and we'd be doing a disservice if we didn't take a deeper look. Hopefully, this clears some things upSo...Covering HBCUs don't pay the bills.

It sounds like he has a helluva developmental program. Thanks Bluedog for sharing this interview on this platform. It would be nice if HBCUs can recognize individuals of such determination to lead their programs.

They read just like a Staunch conservative looking to move the goal post because the playing field is getting even and they are afraid of competition

Also, I think we spend way too much time trying to preserve our culture by isolating ourselves and not enough time trying to enhance our culture.
Campbell has the largest line in college football. Over 300 lbs per man

Over 300 lbs per man…….well, Coach Minter indicated in the interview^^^that the game will come down to the battle in the trenches, specifically, his D-line versus Prime’s O-line. He believes that if his boys can get to Prime’s son under center, it’s lights out for Walter Payton’s alma mater. Btw, if Campbell’s line does average over 300 lbs as you state, then my question is whether what the late great FAMU coach Jake Gaither would say applies. Are they “mobile, agile and hostile”.
