Congratulations to the HBCUs included in the poll.

I can't understand why WSSU is not ranked in this poll?

 :lmao:

Your sarcasm reveals a lot of hurt bro. (And a hilarious sense of humor).

Had my boys been playing like they are playing now, we would have kicked Shaw's butt by 2-3 td's and are most likely in the poll as well.

But as the old folks used to say, "if ifs and butts were candy and nuts."

Being hurt only belongs to people who think they have a chance. So they get disappointed and hurt when they lose. We are so bad that most Rams can't get hurt anymore. We will be sorry for at least four more years. Until our coach's contract runs out.

Man, I was hoping that this would be the year Bowie won it all. I think that a school has to have a couple of years in the playoffs to get the experience needed to compete for the national championship. Bowie has that experience so I thought this would be the year. But hey maybe next year.

I tried to tell you it wasn't gonna happen THIS year. When Wilson and the asst. coaches and 4 All-CIAA and an ALL-American left our defense, there was going to be some slippage automatically. Not to mention our lack of a go-to running back.

I am happier looking at our backs now, they are starting to look better as the season progresses, and as long as nothing happens to our QB Gollatt, we are going to be ok.

This week I believe will tell the tale. We are peaking at the right time, and we are going to have to be at our best when VUU comes up I-95 this Saturday. This has the potential to be the game of the year in the CI, but I don't wanna speak too soon, because I just knew Va State was gonna be a barnburner, and we went up in their crib and backhanded them a couple times (hope that won't happen to us)...
