David Hackett Fischer’s African Founders is a book we have greatly needed.

Ms. klg^^^if the review of the book that you linked is representative of the quality of the book, itself, this seems like a fascinating read. But 946 pages of narrative!?!?!? My God, a brutha would have to do some biceps/triceps exercises just to have the strength/ability to carry the damn thing.

Yeah, I know audio is an option, which you’ve already stated you’re doing. But I don’t care for audiobooks. I prefer the “hardcover” so I can reference something after I’m done reading.

Anyway, this seems like a tremendous addition for those who wish to truly understand the negro’s journey in America.
