I don't know how that compares to previous iterations of the game or other classic games; but considering Charlotte isn't known as a Labor Day destination, this seems pretty good.

The Charlotte Sports Foundation (CSF) in partnership with the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority (CRVA) released the results of the economic impact study for the 2021 Duke’s Mayo Classic Games that occurred over Labor Day weekend. The two games featuring App State vs ECU (9/2) and Georgia vs Clemson (9/4) had an estimated economic impact of 48.8 million dollars for the Charlotte region. The two games also resulted in $26.2 million in direct visitor spending and $1.47 million in Mecklenburg County sales and hospitality taxes

Well the bayou classic generates over 50 million for new Orleans but for the game itself southern get about 200,000 and grambling 146,000. Some of us are not too smart when it comes to contracts and business   we are impressed by the shiny objects but fail to read the small print

Truthfully, most of these classic contracts are scams. Similar to how the CIAA Tournament generating hundreds of millions yet the conference received $1 million. We need better negotiators with business acumen at the table.

I do not know  any numbers , but this was our home game!!!!
