I thought I heard something like 25-20 and won 8 games last year…..Auburn’s sorry assed coach lost 5-6 in a row to end the season and they got rid of the black AD….go figure that one out….

Hey, I would love for our AD/HC to reach out to Herm on this. Not sure if he would seriously consider it or not. Definitely worth a shot.

I like Herm. He’s always been positive and uplifting in trying to mold/shape young males into real men. I will support anyone trying to do that.

.......Alum, I'm confused, which of those two dudes Herm met in the end zone is the AD, the brutha or the white boy?  And of the two, what is the position of the person NOT the AD?

Btw, I always thought this was a bad fit for Herm in the first place. And now I'm reading that before Herm was hired for that job in 2017, the LAST time he coached college football was in 1989?!?!?  It appears that the ASU AD was formerly Herm's agent.

With the hire of Herm Edwards the AD (Ray Anderson) and Deputy AD (Jean Boyd) wanted to put Herm in the position of "CEO".

He would  recruit, coach and develop, overall be the face of the program. Behind the scenes the coaches would do everything else. Former NFL linebacker Antonio Pierce was named associate HC and was Herm's right hand man. Herm didn't learn the NCAA bylaws and eventually Pierce spearheaded violations, with Herm's knowledge.

Fair or not as the HC, a part of his duty is to maintain "institutional control", which in short is following NCAA rules. There were NCAA violations, intentional and unintentional and poor play this season which led to his ousting.

I'd be surprised if he coached at the collegiate level again.

Well,,,,, if Arizona State has to pay him the remainder of his contract, and one of those stipulations in his contract is that he can't coach anywhere else while ASU pays out the remainder of his contract,,,,, then I understand!
