It really, really is. Someone from gram asked on fb why we hadn't said anything to TSU yet? My response was "We don't pick on the handicapped and infirm, we aren't bullies."

If they do win, it would be two in row for them, which hasn't happened that often.  All ten (10) of their fans just might try to take down the goal posts.

Local CW affiliate to air Southern vs Texas Southern football game

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Southern University Jaguars football team will start conference play this Saturday against Texas Southern in Arlington, Texas.

If you’re not traveling to see the game in person, you can watch it from the comfort of your home.

WBRL, the CW affiliate in Baton Rouge, will air the matchup between the two teams.

Southern offensive line proves its mettle heading into Arlington Classic

Southern University quickly was knocked out of contention against LSU on Saturday because of turnovers, but one place the Jaguars dug in their heels was on the offensive line.


No surprise there. For five straight seasons including 2022, the front five has been the most consistent unit on offense. It’s a comforting thought with the Jaguars headed into their Southwestern Athletic Conference season opener against Texas Southern in the Arlington Classic at 4 p.m. Saturday at Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas.
