Women on LinkedIn are fed up with men hitting on them through the job networking site — and some are hitting back by posting screenshots of the creepy come-ons.

The hashtag #BeProfessional was trending on LinkedIn over the weekend as women reported the unwanted approaches from men. Others circulated memes titled “LinkedIn is not a dating app.”

One woman on LinkedIn wrote: “Is it just me feeling or [has] LinkedIn has really become more of a Tinder account? More than client proposals, I have dating proposals here.”

Tara Furiani, who co-hosts a podcast with her husband titled “Not the HR Lady,” posted an item on LinkedIn about a man who “f–ked around and now he’s about to find out.”

Furiani posted screenshots of messages from a man who told her that he had a “huge LinkedIn crush” on her.

Wow, didn't see that coming.But not surprised .

I've noticed its gotten more of a FB feel. I've even muted some friends who blur their professional and personal on there.Do I really need to see your granddaughter Girl Scout picture on there?

I left link in 2016, after I got hit on and an old male friend tried to contact me. Nope.

I cut down my usage when one of my parents classmates asked me to lunch. But the tone was definitely not a professional lunch. I do also notice more men than anyone looking at my profile. It's strictly business over here though.

Same here. I get email notices from the site, but I'm retired and not looking for a job. I just delete them.

All I have to say is be careful what you wish for. Trust me, one day the attention is going to stop. You are going to be so old, fat and broke down, you are going to wish someone will stop and take the time to say hello to you. I'm just sayin.

I do have a cousin who utilizes social media [and that is what LinkedIn is afterall] to peruse womens' profiles.

He says its FREE which beats paid dating apps!   


Guess I can't argue with that. 

Just know if a woman has an INBOX, cuz is up in it!

I still use it and am fairly active on it. Agree with the sentiment that it’s changed completely since it’s inception.

Well the bright side is that a professional will be hitting you up. Deadbeats can't afford Wifi because they spend all their money on a rock.
