From a football perspective, that is the CAA in drag.  :tiptoe:
 :o ……..wtf does THIS mean?

I take my comment back. My brother set me straight. The list that was posted didn't have UD, Maine, New Hampshire, Villanova, and Richmond. When I first saw that, I said how the hell is that the CAA?  That's just the Big South changing the name of their conference, they still had pussies between their legs.  :tiptoe:
???.......well, I guess I appreciate the "attempt" to explain the "drag" reference, but the continued use of sexual metaphors in your last response STILL leaves me a tad confused and queasy, so I'll leave it there.

If your the MEAC Commissioner would you take a chance go after Tenn. State or Longwood(basketball). DSU is still the wildcard where it can leave any time.

She can try but Tennessee State ain’t going nowhere.

it just does not make sense geographically for Tennessee State. IF the meac still had FAMU and BCU, maybe.

JT......I'm here at Ground Zero. bluedog and others are correct, y'all need to leave TSU alone, they ain't going nowhere.  Got this from more than one person who actually KNOWS.  Now wtf happens when the OVC disintegrates, as alot of people expect to happen soon, is anyone's guess.

For the time being, unfortunately, it is SPECTACULAR mediocre football on John Merritt Boulevard.

They're already speculating on social media what s the next HBCU to poach to make the Pirates and Aggies more comfortable.

I can't see anymore schools going to the CAA unless somebody leaves.

Campbell was the missing link to even things out.  If Howard had jumped ship then I doubt we would be seeing this announcement today.

Delaware and William & Mary to the Southbelt or AAC?
Where did this come from?

The word is CAA adding because they expect to loose some schools soon. Elon, William & Mary maybe Delaware

This is a possibility...seems every FCS conference has lost or gained a couple schools here lately. The questions is who leaves the CAA and why?

Whoever is making these decisions to switch conferences and test the waters elsewhere should be commended for their foresight and willingness to change with the times.  Although I don't follow Campbell sports closely, looking at the schools currently within the CAA, Campbell's 2023 arrival seems a nice addition from a geographical standpoint, and maybe even acquire a few more more observers to their newly aligned conference tournament. This looks like a great move for Campbell, Hampton and A&T.  MEAC and SWAC might want to consider going after a PWI to counter what is being done in other systems of capitalism.

Just what is it you see that they are doing that the swac needs to counter?

The CAA footprint is from Maine to South Carolina.  Good wishes with the traveling budget.

That is a very unorthodox and extremely odd business strategy.

Aggies and folks who were either born, raised in NC and/or still live there:

I conducted a cursory review of Campbell University’s website, with particular emphasis on their claims to be a “Christian” college. Sorry, but the vibes I got is that this is one of those white Christian Nationalist universities.

Is THIS who North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University REALLY wIsh to associate?
