Quote from: A&T AGGIE 96 on July 10, 2022, 12:53:04 PMQuote from: Strike79 on July 10, 2022, 11:58:51 AMsigh…….…the Aggies are currently considered “the cream of the crop” in black college football? Who is writing this stuff for hbcusports, high school free lancers? As an Aggie you know I'm biased...but for the past 10 years what HBCU football program has been better than A&T? We got the wins and the rings to prove that you can't list the best of HBCU football with A&T at or near the top of that list. North Dakota State is really an FBS program masquerading as an FCS program. The game will be played at the Fargo Dome. NDSU has how many FCS titles over the last 5-10 years? Look, I’ll be pulling for the pups, but this game has “beat down” written all over it.Yeah, NDSU is a whole different animal. They are the best in FCS bar none. The game is a benchmark for our program, where we stand...verses where we want to be. The days of lining up underfunded teams with no playoff aspirations are over for A&T. I look at it the same way I see a FBS money game. There is no return game, we take our payout and hope for the best.Quote“I think to be the best, you have to beat the best, and we are certainly playing the best in North Dakota State,” said Washington. “We are looking forward to seeing where we measure up when playing the best.”Did A&T’s white AD at least negotiate some funds to send the Aggies marching band so they can entertain all of those white folks on the plains? I’m sure they’re not used to seeing THAT kind of marching band entertainment. I fail to see what the color of our AD has to do with securing funds for band travel , that said...he has been acknowledged as one of the best ADs at our level...he was named the Under Armour Athletics Director of the Year for NCAA FCS in 2019, and he has been with the program for over 10 years...10 years where A&T has basically dominated HBCU sports, IJS...the NDSU game is an out of state, out of conference money game. It is my understanding the band won't be traveling. It's more likely fans can catch the BGMM right up the street the following week in Durham for our game with Duke...and for the next three weeks for home games at NCA&T.Your history not withstanding can you truly say your team is presently "the cream of the crop"? There are quite a few freshmen, redshirt freshmen listed on your roster. Not trying to throw shade but asking a serious question.

Actually, Hampton finished slightly higher than them in the Big South Conference this past season.

If we can keep the best of the MEAC on our schedule that would handle the SWAC because the MEAC champ would win the Celebration Bowl

Quote from: y04185 on July 10, 2022, 02:04:48 PMStrike, white people could care less about a marching band. Unless you're Ohio State. They aren't giving free seats to a large band when they can sell those seats to fans.We don't typically take our band when playing theses matchups. We're not going there to entertain them. Lol....at least not intentionally.
