I think this is another reason why Texas is a s**t show. The school districts have their own police departments, not resource officers. The state set themselves up for this one. Terrible leadership.

Miami-Dade school district has had its own police force for years. Palm Beach school district recently signed an agreement to have Palm Beach County Sheriff police their schools. Not sure what Broward has.
