I don't mean to offend anyone but I was going over all the years TnSU wasted in the OVC and how now their AD has them all goose up about moving up to fbs. Then it occurred to me that A&T leadership is almost just as incompetent, because of how they wasted over $2mil of A&T money in less than a year whore hopping from one pwi to another. Because they believe it's their only way to move up to the FBS level. Where they will be playing for nothing (as the pro playoffs folks love to say) but a lower tier Bowl game. That in all likelihood won't pay out as much as the Celebration Bowl. Now, how freaking stupid is that? Talk about a "bunch" of incompetent eggheads at the helm. Smh....

I'm pretty sure Harold Martin don't know a thing about running an athletic dept and he takes his cues from their AD just like 99.999999999% of colleges do.

Someone please correct me if I’m wrong but did the AD come out and say A&T wants to move to FBS?

I don’t recall that goal being on the table publicly other than what the Chancellor said to faculty in 2018.

And if the CAA didn’t reach out to A&T and invited the University to join, A&T likely be back in the MEAC, IMHO.

Some posters just have A&T on the brain...I mean I can see if they went to A&T, but they can't seem to help themselves. TSU, HU, and NCA&T all belong to non HBCU conferences, but some posters they can't accept that. Especially A&T's recent move...Like most poster on this board I love the talk HBCU sports, but some people are just A&T

At this point, it's truly absurd to continue to fill this forum with the different varieties of bs that you all can just pull out of your butts at a moment's notice, to fit whatever the current narrative is. This is about the sheer incompetence and stupidity of  A&T athletic dept wasting $2mil ( conservative figure) of A&T budget just to (hopefully) end up playing for a lower tier Bowl that payout in all likelihood will be less than the Celebration Bowl.  That's a level of incompetence and sheer  stupidity that will probably never again be met in out lifetime.

Obviously you do care….o can understand your interest in HBCU sports, but your fascination with how and what is going on in Greensboro is strange to say the least.

That's fine. I just wanted the Onnidan Board to hear NC A&T's Athletic departments rationale in their own words justifying spending $2,000,000 to join the CAA.
