OK JT, give us some details.
Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'”

WoW, glad you weren't injured. If it hadn't got hit do you think it would have lasted much longer?

I got hooked on that video you posted and watched and the 2nd one after they literally rebuilt that car.

M&G, I was just glad I didn't get hurt. Some dumb ass truck lost their load all over the interstate, it was late and dark and before I knew it, a mattress was stuck up under my Yugo...I COULD NOT MOVE. Then somebody hits me from the back. The damage didn't look that bad to me but the insurance company said, ITS DONE.  ::)

I will literally drive a car up to the point that I gotta pay for repairs every month [DAYUM YOU ISUZU RODEO] so not sure how far the Yugo could have gone.

It was great on gas and at that time, gas was still under a buck.

In college my mom made me take my stepfather's 66 Impala to school so he wouldn't get another DUI.   The first car I ever bought was a 1979 Pontiac Grand Prix that I got while at Fort Benning as a 2LT.  It was stolen, stripped, and left in a field two months later near Fort Campbell.
