Perceptions of (College) Affordability

High school juniors who believe they can’t afford higher education are about 20 percentage points less likely to attend college within the first three years after high school than peers who don’t think affordability is a barrier.

We need to encourage our kids to take advantage of dual enrollment programs while in high school to reduce the long term cost of their education.  This will also aids to matriculation and retention of students of color as well.
