I think I'll be there as well.

Congrats SCSU! Represent the MEAC! I will be heading to NYC the December 18th weekend for the HBCU Basketball match ups.  NCCU vs Hampton and A&T vs Howard.

Who will they "prepare" for?? They won't know until after Dec. 4.  So they really have the same amount of time as the SWAC.

I was thinking the exact thing.

It will be Jackson State, PVA&M, or Alcorn. That's pretty narrow when you only have one game left after Nov 20th.
There are two weeks between Nov 20 and the SCG. Is Buddy going to prepare for two teams starting Nov 21??? He won't know who to prep for until after the SCG.

The SWAC has one Celebration Bowl win.  We will see if they can get to two.  I think the SWAC Championship game puts the SWAC at a disadvantage.

SCSU is a well coached team. Everyone here knows how important Coach Pough and the FB program is to this institution. The Celebration Bowl will allow the additional exposure to recruit students to an institution that many thought was on the edge of closure a few years back.  This is more than a single game for them. They are battling for existence.

I hope Buddy spent the past two weeks focusing on JSU? Unfortunately I don't think it will matter. JSU simply has too much talent.

We spoke to the Celebration Bowl executive director last night. He says they are working to have the 2nd level opened up by this afternoon.

We warned him weeks ago that he will need more than 45K seats. JSU will definitely bring at least 35,000 fans not to mention there will be a lot of Deion fans in Atlanta wanting to attend.
