Sanders not expected to coach second consecutive game
« on: October 30, 2021, 10:06:47 AM »

This is starting to seem like it's a lot more serious then originally thought.

Deion Sanders not expected to coach second consecutive Jackson State game

Deion Sanders' very serious health situation is expected to continue into this weekend, with sources at multiple Southwestern Athletic Conference programs telling FootballScoop on Friday that Sanders is not expected to coach his Jackson State team this weekend.

I agree Bluedog.  At least it would seem like he would've been able to coach from the pressbox.  New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton did it when his leg had gotten injured from a sideline hit. I wish Coach Prime a fast and immediate recovery.

Prayers for Coach Prime. Any rumors about what's going on?

I am sorry that Deion’s foot is hurting and needs Doctoring but he seems like he got/gets tired too quick. More than that foot is bothering him. I applaud Jackson State for the way they have turned things around. But some games can and will be a struggle. Everybody is not going to be pulling for you including your opponents. It comes with the job.  I can see every game what the G-Rams weaknesses are and it could/will bite us in the butt one day if we don’t get better. Deion needs to hold his head up, keep learning the struggles of coaching, Keep fighting and continue to build his school and team up. Keep striving to be better. Every team should want wants to be a Champion and knock off a Champion.

I think the Jags are right that it seems more serious than just his "foot is hurting". It seems Coach Prime may be battling a real medical challenge if you're paying attention, so let's all do what Black people do (hate one another sadly sometimes though we may) and show compassion and love to our brother. LET'S PRAY!

Giving an opinion is not hating on someone. Pray for what? Deion is the one who has the Mic. He said it was his foot and he said he was tired of some things. So what should we pray for. His foot? For Jackson State to win all of their games so he(and we)can feel better. When you put some of your personal feelings in the news you’re going to get what you’re going to get. A response, some good some bad.

You are erroneously equating improving his coaching and improving his health....which I don't understand.  This topic is clearly about praying for his health. You'e right, you're going to get some bad responses....your post(s) is an example.

For the record, he has been hospitalized. It's more than just his foot. The brotha has been sick. Chill.

I knew something was seriously wrong when I learned he was in the hospital. Praying everything is well and healed for him

I'm not one who believe in conspiracies, but ironically he gets sick right after he begins to push for top Black college athletes to consider HBCUs.

I'm just saying. His home is in Texas and now he's temporarily living in Mississippi.  As an engineer, it doesn't take much for folks to do us harm, especially when we depend on them for so much.
