For the life of me, I can't understand why TU seem to be so content with D2. Can you imagine how that classic can be promoted and blown up if they were D1 and a SWAC affiliation
They tell you the reason why all the time. Tuskegee can't AFFORD to move up like the rest of the D2 HBCU's!

The fact that the same person is the AD, HC, and the OC says it all.  ::)

Recipe for disaster to have one person taking on so much. Last time my Aggies had the head coach serve as OC we endured a 27 game losing streak.
Not used to seeing TU like this!
Crabs to the left
Crabs to the right
Crabs everywhere!

Lawd, not RedBuddha??! It must be bad if you're bringing him out of retirement from the Board to speak on his Tigers.

I have returned back home from the weekend in Montgomery. I took in the sites while I was there. If you haven't had the opportunity to visit the Legacy Museum and the Lynching Museum, please do so. I shed a tear a couple of times in reading some of the history of the Transatlantic Slave Trade to the Domestic Slave Trade. We owe a LOT to our ancestors everyday.

I've read everyone's comments about it being a super spreader with 13K-plus fans at the game. I pray that it doesn't. I must admit throughout the entire game people on the Fort Valley State side had masks. I don't know about the Tuskegee side. I didn't make my way over there. I just know the majority of our people had masks on. The game felt like our old rivalry home-and-home game with each other. Both student sections were packed and engaging with each other. It just felt good to see our game experience never disappoints.

The game itself I must admit that I'm proud of my Wildcats. The first half the offense looks confused and discombobulated. The QB needs to do better. Time management was an issue. They were running the offense way too slow. We were in the stand like RUN THE FREAKING the play.  The defense...what can I say. The "Blue Death Defense" was on full display. Number 9 is going to be a problem for people. Overall, the team did what they had to do with a Tuskegee team that hasn't played in over a year and didn't even come close to playing Tuskegee-like. Our next test are the snakes of FAMU. So, we shall see if we're up to the task.

As I told GK, hopefully, next year we will get to see each other next year wherever the game is played.

that's all...

This^^^^^^

That’s what years of the lack of vision and leadership on the administrative and departmental levels get you.

With the right leadership, Tuskegee could easily have a successful athlete program on either the FCS or D2 levels just on name recognition alone.

I saw where they "JUST" recently in August appointed a JSU alum as President.  I wonder how long the one before her was there.

bluedog, the TU Presidency has basically been a revolving door since Dr. Payton retired in 2010. Three permanent presidents, Dr. Morris served as the Interim President on three different occasions, with the last occasional parlaying into becoming the permanent President!!

We’ve had more presidents in the last 10 years than we had in the previous 130 years 😤😤
