I truly believe now she is the front runner for the MEAC job
We are going to miss her in Durham, but do believe she would be an incredible hire for the MEAC conference and the massive challenges it faces moving forward. As someone mentioned in an earlier post, Ingrid had a good run; you don't hold AD title and work under four chancellors if you are not a doing something right. The NCCU Eagle family will move forward and continue to soar as the powers make a new hire and set forth a vision for the department and its future.
Ingrid is stepping down at the end of this academic year because of personal reasons. I am not at liberty to discuss they reasons.

Our footprint in RTP of NC an area replete with Fortune 500 companies. Mr Aggie Professor, who started the post would not care if we successfully had any program or conference. You all left. From the outside looking in , it looks as if she was doing a good job. Winning in Football, Basketball and a good social media imprint. But if your not happy with your AD , so be it. It's been explained over and over why we left. Has nothing to do with NCCU Again , from the outside looking like she was doing well. It was nothing negative about my postEagle fans mostly support Dr. McCree. We do need more students; no lie told there. It's essential to the academic, athletic and auxillary enterprise. Is the Assoc. AD in charge of development/resource acquisitions stepping down too? Isn't it his job to raise funds? For the Eagle fans applauding this decision/announcement; be careful what you wish for. Her tenure was a value-add to the university, not a detractor. Also, nothing occurs in a vacuum.
