He will never wear an Aggie uniform. Since when did coming in forth win anything but a moral victory. There is no way he will select A&T over any of those other schools. His list will change over time and will include Alabama and a few other schools. Some of these Aggies are talking about why not attend an HBCU, when themselves don't want to be associated with HBCUs by joining the Big South. You talk about taking out of both sides of your mouth.

Lol ya'll a trip.

It was , we need to get our kids to look at and come back to HBCUs.

oh, so now you wanna play the "hbcu card"?  you say "we need to get our kids to look at and come back to HBCUs"?  are you serious!

talk about being "hypocritical"!  can't be more "hypocritical" than that.  and ram has a point, outta one side of your mouth you say "we need to get our kids to look at and come back to HBCUs", yet outta the other side of your mouth you say a&t should turn its back on hbcu's and instead give their support to pwc's.

so kids should come back to hbcu's, but a&t shouldn't?  "hypocrisy" at its finest...

Again A&T will always be a HBCU. No matter what athletic conference it is apart of.

You wanting to be a member of a HBCU conference is vastly different then wanting kids to come to HBCUS. A&T isn't the only HBCU not in a conference made up of all HBCU schools.

Your personal preference and actual facts don't always match up.

I disagree. Imagine if you had an imaginary place where A&T and FAMU were five star HBCUs and the MEAC was an HBCU. In that situation, the MEAC would try to recruit both A&T and FAMU. You could use the same argument as to why A&T and FAMU should attend the MEAC (HBCU) as you are making about the actual five star players attending an HBCU in the real situation. The argument would include tradition, ownership, heritage, similar schools and goals, and etc.

Again that's where you're wrong. All the schools in the MEAC conference don't have the same goals.

Yes they do have the same goal... to educate and elevate our people. To give us an opportunity where main stream America wouldn't. Sports is just an added benefit in achieving that goal.

There is know question that A&T is one of HBCU's five star schools. Even Steve wonder can see ya'll are many steps above most of us. So why don't ya'll act like you are one of our leaders and stop bragging about how much better you are than the rest of us. Instead, you run back to the plantation we desperately tried to escape from.

This is a sports forum. And we are discussing athletics. This platform provides other forums to discuss what you're trying to discuss here.

Again, A&T and the MEAC have different goals athletically. And that's ok. We wish them all the luck and success and hope they do the same for us

Sure talking about who be whom is sports. However, talking about what conference a schools plays in is much more than the sports they play. Being our largest HBCU, you have an obligation to lead the rest of us. How about A&T trying to get into the Ivy League? Your sports program might be better than theirs, but they will never let you in for reasons outside of sports. Your viewing yourselves as just sports is ridiculous. Your existence has nothing to do with the sports you play.

a&t ain't got no business leaving an hbcu conference to join a pwc conference.  it is "wrong", period.  an hbcu should never take away it's support from an hbcu conference and then give it to a competing pwc conference.

these pwc's have "oppressed" hbcu's ever since the very first hbcu was founded.  hbcu's were "created" because pwc's would not allow african americans to attend their colleges.  it wasn't until more than 100 years later that those very same pwc's stole our "athletes", and now they're stealing our hbcu's just to "save" their own conference and for no other reason.

too bad our folk are too "blind" to see that.  i can see the bsc commish right now behind close doors, sitting in his office with his legs crossed on his desk while smoking a cigar and giggling, "they fell for the okie dope"!  got those hbcu's to "save" our conference and those hbcu's actually think they are "equal partners"...

All this talk about loyalty is just that, talk ,where was your loyalty when your daughter played sports and attended a certain PWC across town on the other end of Market street right here in Greensboro , UNC Greensboro .You're simply over compensating with all this loyalty BS for 1)Your past statements advocating for A&T to leave the MEAC and go to the Big South conference ,2)sending your child to attend and play sports at a PWC right across town from your dearly beloved NCAT .Oh the "Hypocrisy" it's the oldest trick in the book ,yell and scream as loud as you can ,and point in the other direction ,so no one will look right behind you and see your bulls**t .
