Arkansas executed this brother before he exhausted his appeals. Someone should pay for this but of course nobody will.

And of course, there is no remorse or apology to the family. In their warped minds, people of color do not deserve space on this planet. So, executing him was the right thing to do, innocent or not.

And this is why I stradle the fence when it comes to the death penalty: cases just like this. One of the flaws in our justice syste is that prosecutors, judges, but mainly prosecutors really do not care about guilt or innocence. They only care about PROSECUTION RATES and PHUCK your innocence, even in cases where they know you are innocent.

156 individuals have been exonerated from death row--that is, found to be innocent and released - since 1973.

Can you imagine being tried and convicted, sentenced to DEATH knowing good and gadam well that you are innocent?

On the flipside, in these cases where is it clear as a bell to the guilt of murdering bastards, I don't have an issue with the death penalty [other than the fact that Blacks are more likely to receive a death sentence than non-Blacks].

It is an ugly reality.

Nephew is a Morehouse Man now!
