The streaming services are really raising the bar. I have AppleTV+,  HBOMax and am loving the exclusive content.

 :clap:.............saw it last nite. And, yes!, it was both “beautifully made” AND powerful.

I’m glad that Bison did not say more than what he did in the lead post^^^. I knew that the film was based on Ta-neihisi Coates’ (sp?) book, but that’s ALL I knew. Mrs. Strike had read the book as part of her all black women book club, and shared some enlightenment as I was watching the film.

Btw, there was a review of the film on NPR this morning, so it would be great if someone could post the link to that review here.
